The British supermarket Tesco has announced that it is to introduce a one-hour delivery service. Called Tesco Now, the app-based service will be a direct competitor to Amazon's Prime Now delivery option. Tesco said in a statement that customers will be able to order up to 20 items, to be delivered in one hour for £7.99, or within two hours for £5.99. For now, the service is only available to central London addresses, whilst Amazon Prime Now is available in nine different cities in the UK.
