Google has announced a new way for webmasters to validate their AMP pages. AMP pages are those which have extremely lightweight code, allowing them to load very quickly on mobile devices. To validate your AMP page using Google's new tool, you need to go to validator.ampproject.org, type your URL into the bar at the top of the page and click the “validate” button on the right hand side. The tool will analyse your URL and will say whether it has passed or failed. If your URL has failed to meet AMP standards, the tool will list all the things that need to be fixed, and will say which lines in the code these errors appear in.
