Google has announced that it is introducing a new suite of ad formats to AdSense. The new AdSense Native ads come in three categories: In-feed, In-article, and Matched content. AdSense Native ads allow advertisers to develop ads that match the look and feel of the site they are displayed on. Google hopes that they will improve user experience, improve ad appearance “across different screen sizes”, and enable ads to be created much easier due to better editing tools. Matched content specifically will ensure that all ads appear fully integrated with the page they appear on. The Native In-feed and Native In-article features are available to all publishers. However, in order to access the Matched content feature, publishers must meet specific criteria.
