Google and YouTube have been ranked as the healthiest brands in a YouGov survey. Even though both companies have suffered controversy with a string of PR disasters in recent times, such as the decision from major brands to stop advertising on YouTube, both companies still came out ahead of companies such as Adidas, Facebook and Amazon. They were followed by Facebook in third place, with Samsung, WhatsApp and Apple making up the rest of the top six. Rankings were based on data from 32 countries around the world, in multiple regions. The CEO of YouGov said that tech brands took up most of the list since they “are open and accessible in most places on Earth to anyone with online access”.
