Research by B2C Europe has found that people in France are more open to new ecommerce delivery options, compared to their British and Dutch counterparts. The study asked respondents from France, the UK and the Netherlands to consider if they would be comfortable using three new delivery options: giving a courier temporary access to their house, giving a courier temporary access to the boot of their car, and picking up items from an unmanned locker. It was found that the unmanned locker option was the most popular across all three countries, followed by the car option, with the house option coming in last place. When looking at between-country differences, it was found that consumers in France were more open to all three delivery options, followed by people in the UK, with people in the Netherlands being the most cautious.
