A new report by Feedvisor has shed light on ecommerce behaviour on Amazon. It found that a staggering 85% of Amazon Prime members visited the website at least once a week, compared to 56% of non-Prime members. Purchasing behaviour followed a similar pattern: 46% of Prime members bought from Amazon at least once a week, compared to just 13% of non-Prime members. When looking at the devices that users were using, the study found a fairly even split between desktop and mobile. The research also identified the top factors driving purchases on Amazon. Low prices, free shipping and positive product reviews were the three most important factors. Having a detailed product description was also found to be an important factor.
