Amazon Expands Influencer Program

Amazon has expanded its Influencer Program to include Instagram and Twitter. Previously, the Influencer Program had only covered YouTube. Under the initiative, influencers can promote products on their YouTube, Instagram or Twitter accounts, and point users to a special custom store on Amazon where users are able to buy these products. The influencer then gets a certain percentage of all sales made through their store. Amazon hopes it will encourage more influencers to get involved in the Program, as well as to increase sales on Amazon. Influencers are hugely popular, especially amongst younger demographics.
