New Bing Shopping Campaigns features rolled out

Bing has rolled out several new features for Bing Shopping Campaigns. The changes aim to improve the set-up process, make account maintenance more efficient and provide shoppers with more product information. It is now possible to verify your Bing Merchant Centre domain using Universal Event Tracking (or UET). You just need to add UET tags to your website and it will then be possible for you to choose this as a verification method when setting up your store. Another update is the addition of four new columns in the Product Groups grid. These new columns tell you, at a glance, the number of products you have uploaded, the number that are error-free and ready to serve, the number that are being bid upon, and the percentage that are being bid upon. It is also now possible to sign up for email notifications when your products are rejected by Bing. Sellers are strongly recommended to sign up for this feature in order to identify and fix problems quickly. The final update involves product images. Currently, products can only have one product image in the product offer feed. It will soon be possible to increase this to 11 product images. This should increase click-through rates and reduce bounce rates by giving users more information before clicking on the product.
