Japanese Internet Users Very Interested In VR

Japanese internet users are interested in bringing virtual reality into their own homes. A study by Mobile Marketing Data Lab has shown that nearly two-thirds of Japanese internet users would like to experience VR in their homes, with an additional 35% saying that they would prefer to use it outside their homes. Only 4% of internet users in the survey were not interested in the technology, showing that it certainly has an audience in the country. The most popular place that many would like to see the tech used was within movie theatres. However, it was also found that at least 40% of men over 50 did not know what virtual reality was, with over half of women of the same age in the same position.
