Google has given all .blogspot domain blogs a HTTPS version. Blog owners have the option of turning on HTTPS redirects, which will automatically point users to the HTTPS version of the blog if they go to a HTTP page. HTTPS webpages are more secure than their HTTP counterparts, as they protect the data sent between websites and visitors. Google has warned blog owners to look out for mixed content, for example HTTPS pages pulling images from HTTP connections, as these can result in problems with functionality.Â
