Google And Walmart Enter Ecommerce Partnership

Google and Walmart have announced an ecommerce partnership. The deal will mean that Walmart's products will become available to consumers through Google's shopping platform in September. Walmart's head of ecommerce announced in a blog post that the company would be “working with Google to offer hundreds of thousands of items for voice shopping via Google Assistant”. This means that after the platform's launch, Walmart will be offering “the largest number of items currently offered by [any] retailer” on Google Shopping. Additionally, Walmart will be integrating Google's Express feature, which will allow users to buy from multiple large brands through the same marketplace.
