Google AdWords mobile extensions have received a new set of upgrades. Google has announced the addition of interactive sitelinks and improvements to structured snippets. Firstly, sitelinks are now tappable on mobile devices, allowing users to scroll through the options on-screen to choose which section of a website they land on. According to Google, tests have shown that the change makes users twice as likely to interact with ad extensions. Secondly, structured snippet extensions now appear within the main body of an ad, as opposed to beneath it. This change is designed to allow more of the callout and snippet text to be displayed to users.
