The Secretary-General of the UN Conference on Trade and Development has told developing countries that they must not get left behind in terms of ecommerce. He warned that “those countries, populations and small enterprises which have no presence on the digital platform are not only invisible, but they basically cannot grow, they cannot compete”. The week-long conference brings together 700 government and business leaders from all over the world to talk about the biggest opportunities and issues in the global ecommerce market.
