Seznam has invested in ecommerce logistics after the purchase of a 17% stake in Zavezu, a transportation services app. Whilst a price was not announced, Seznam will be integrating the app into its classified Sbazar service as an alternative delivery option. Zavezu works as a way to transport items between places via a community-based database. Users can select a 'ferryman' who will move the items and can be tracked at all times. It is expected that the new delivery feature will help Seznam catch up with its main competitor in the Czech Republic, Bazos. SimilarWeb reported that Bazos received over 4 million more visits than Seznam's Sbazar service in December 2016.Â
