Design is a key stage in the creation of a new website. Before the website build can begin, detailed visuals of each page type must be created in order to provide a plan from which to bring the website to life. Based on the brief and following a discussion, we will create visuals which will show the look and feel of the website, as well as the structure and layout. Initial designs will be provided, and then following a further consultation, final designs will be delivered for sign-off.
When you are building a new website.
When deciding on the aesthetics and structure for a new website.
Design is a key stage in the creation of a new website. Before the website build can begin, detailed visuals of each page type must be created in order to provide a plan from which to bring the website to life.
Visuals are a representation of how the pages will be structured and how the various elements will display on the live website. They are created based on a detailed brief so that they reflect the message, image and content you want to create with the website.
As well as providing the blueprint for the development of the website, these visuals also ensure that changes can be made to any element of the visual look or the structure of the website before the development begins to avoid unnecessary delays and costs.
Initial designs will be provided, and then following a further consultation, final designs will be delivered for sign-off.
Before any visuals are started, a detailed briefing questionnaire will be completed to provide information on everything from the goals and purpose of the website to brand guidelines and corporate style. Our design team may also request a discussion in order to ensure they fully understand what you are looking for.
Based on the brief and discussion, our team of designers will create the look and layout for the home page, inner page templates, as well as any download or contact form pages. This will represent how the website will look, including the images to be used, the positioning of logos and assets, and the colours. It will include dummy text content.
Feedback will be provided on the initial visuals, allowing a final set of visuals to be created for sign-off. The development stage of the website cannot commence until the visuals have been approved, and any changes made after this sign-off will incur an additional charge.
