In-feed videoAds run across YouTube and the Google Display Network. They appear in the YouTube search results in the related video section, as an overlay on the video or an overlay on the video with an additional companion banner.
The ad consists of an image thumbnail and up to three lines of text. Clicking the ad will send a user to the YouTube watch or channel page to view the video rather than playing the video within the ad itself. It's recommended to use call-to-action overlays on the videos to drive the users to the advertiser's site.
The advertiser is charged on a cost-per-view basis as costs are incremented only when a user choses to watch the video by clicking on the thumbnail.
We combine our paid search expertise and native language and cultural knowledge to set up the TrueView Video Discovery Ads campaign, identifying the strengths and weaknesses of campaigns from the perspective of both user and search engine and making adjustments to improve performance.
