When you have carried out multilingual desktop publishing but do not have in-house native speakers available to review the final document, we can help. It is useful to have a native to check these documents as they will be able to tell if everything has been translated and inserted correctly. A native speaker of your target language will review your translated multilingual document and check for linguistic and formatting errors. You will receive a marked up version of the multilingual document highlighting where changes need to be made to the document.

When creating multilingual versions of documents, it is important that a thorough QA check is conducted to ensure that the translation has been carefully and correctly inserted into the original document template and highlight where any potential errors may have occurred in the process.
If you are able to carry out desktop publishing in-house but do not have native speakers of your target languages to review the final document, we can help.

A native speaker of your target language will conduct a QA check on a draft version of the translated document.

You will receive a marked-up version of the document highlighting where any issues may have arisen during the desktop publishing process allowing you to easily recognise where you will have to make amendments.

Quality process

The process begins by completing a briefing questionnaire to clarify your objectives. This briefing will be visible to all the team members involved with delivering the service and is the foundation for all our quality checks. We will need a draft version of the multilingual document after the desktop publishing stage.

A native speaker of your target language, under the supervision of your project manager, will review the draft version of the document, looking for inconsistency, errors, missing translation, formatting issues etc. and marking these on the document for your reference.

This will be delivered to you to make the necessary changes in-house. Follow up QA checks may be required depending on the issues flagged and we can conduct multiple checks until you are happy with the final version and it had been signed off.

Please note that this service is only a QA check, it does not include the correction of any of the issues which arise.
