Netflix has made its first move into Korean language content production. The new 12-episode show called “Love Alarm”, will be based on an already popular web series in South Korea. Whilst the show will be available internationally, it marks Netflix's first attempt at producing a show in the Korean drama genre, something which has gained a worldwide following in recent years. Even though it is based in California, the service has recently expanded into many foreign markets and languages such as India and Brazil, whilst finding international success with the split English and Spanish language show 'Narcos'.Â
