Research by Econsultancy and Adestra has found that email marketing provides a higher ROI than any other marketing method. Around three-quarters of businesses questioned said that the return-on-investment for email marketing was â€śgoodâ€ť or â€śexcellentâ€ť. Despite this, email marketing only accounted for 15% of total marketing budgets on average. The report's authors suggested that better personalisation and automation could help to improve ROIs further, whilst better metrics could help marketers to convince their bosses that more investment in email is a wise move.
