ASOS Relies On International Markets For Growth

The British online clothing retailer, ASOS, has announced a 49% rise in European sales from September to December in 2016. Announced in a trading statement by the company, it was also revealed that its total sales increase came to 36% worldwide. According to ASOS, the increase in sales was down to recent investments in pricing structures, amongst other things such as the implementation of new business growth ideas. The report from the company also revealed that it had 25% more users, an average purchase price increase of 2%, and an order frequency increase of 6%, all over the same period. Together, this led to ASOS shipping 35% more orders in Q4 of 2016, over the same quarter in 2015.
