YouTube has announced that it now has more than one and half billion logged-in monthly users. The data was revealed at a recent event, and also showed that time spent on the site on mobile was increasing, with people spending an hour each day on the site on average, using a mobile device. The company also focused on the level of growth that it is seeing, pointing out that in 2013 it had one billion monthly active users – more than 500 million less than it has now. Another impressive stat that was revealed is that YouTube TV is growing at a rate of around 90% each year, with the company adding that it was a format that it would be focusing on expanding in the near future.Â
