Twitter Now Supports Analytics For AMP Articles

Twitter has begun supporting analytics for AMP articles posted on its platform. Now, when a user clicks on an AMP article on Twitter, Twitter will ping the article's URL, allowing the publisher to record the view. This will allow AMP article publishers to see which of their readers came from Twitter, as opposed to organic views. Twitter says that this will help publishers to “better understand the origin of the traffic”, giving them a deeper insight into how their article is performing. Twitter has long supported the accelerated mobile pages project. It has supported the embedding of tweets within AMP articles ever since AMP was launched.
