Online Shoppers In Vietnam Buy At Least Once A Month

A new survey has shown that online shoppers in Vietnam make new purchases at least once a month, with 1 in 5 doing so at least once a week. The study performed in August by DI Marketing, shows that the most common frequency of online buying in the country is 2 or 3 times per month, with 32% of digital buyers doing so. However, DI Marketing says that the research shows that digital payment is not yet as popular as digital shopping in Vietnam. Of all respondents to the survey who shop online, only 14% say that they complete the purchase with an online payment. Meanwhile, 85% still pay cash on delivery, although it is noted that it is not clear as to whether this is buyer preference or because some sellers are not set up to accept payments online.
