Instagram has updated its mobile site in order to make it more accessible to mobile users, even if they have not downloaded the app. According to Instagram, it wants to “help people have a fuller experience on the app no matter what device or network they are on”. The launch of a fully optimised mobile website is part of the company's intention to access users in parts of the world where signal strength may not be strong enough to use or download the app. This comes along with updates, including the ability to sign up on the mobile web and the addition of an offline function.Â
