India Retains Ban On In-Flight Wi-Fi

The Indian ban of in-flight-Wi-fi is still in place despite calls to allow it. Both Indian officials and airline companies have expressed their desire to introduce the technology but there has been no word from New Delhi. Amber Dubey, India head of aerospace at KPMG has said “it's very painful [for business people] to be cut off from their team during a flight”. However, the home affairs ministry, which has been called a “barrier to lifting the prohibition”, said it hadn't examined the issue.
