Google has released advice on how webmasters can to set up adverts on their AMP pages. Adverts are delivered via the amp-ad component and use the same stripped down code as the AMP pages themselves, meaning that they do not slow down the page loading speed. The amp-ad component allows webmasters to configure their ads with regards to width, height, ad loading strategy and layout mode. Depending on the ad network you’re using, you may also be able to configure even more attributes. Webmasters are also advised to use HTTPS for all creatives and to ensure their adverts are relevant and beautiful.
