Google is to begin selling its own smart eyewear product once again. Google Glass originally launched in 2015, but was removed from shelves following poor sales. According to the company, both comfort and battery life have been improved, but the product will still resemble the original design. Instead of being released directly to the public like last time, this time the product will be available from specialised software companies which will integrate their own services. The Head of Google Glass said that the company had “spent the last two years working closely with a network of more than 30 expert partners to build customised software and business solutions for Glass”.Â
