Research by Worldpay has predicted which European countries will be the fastest growing ecommerce markets over the next 5 years. It predicts that the Netherlands and Italy will see their ecommerce markets grow the most, with both markets set to grow by 14% every year until 2021. In Italy, there is set to be especially strong growth in the number of people shopping online via their mobile phones. Turkey is set to take third place, with the country's ecommerce market predicted to grow by 13% every year for the next 5 years. Germany is the fourth and final country predicted to see annual growth over 10%, with the country set to see ecommerce grow by 11% every year over the next 5 years.Â
