Google has made it possible for companies to sign themselves up for Google Manufacturer Center. Google Manufacturer Center allows manufacturers to upload detailed product information to Google, helping them to showcase and sell their products online. Manufacturers can upload titles, descriptions, images, videos and more for each of their products, which will appear in Google search results and Google Shopping Ads when users search for relevant keywords. Google Manufacturer Center first launched in 2015, but this is the first time manufacturers have been able to sign themselves up. Previously, they could only inform Google that they were interested, and then wait for Google to get back to them. Google Manufacturer Center is available to all brand manufacturers, brand owners and retailers of own-brand products that sell their products in the US.
