The online payments technology company Alternative Payments has launched a widget to help ecommerce sites sell to international customers. When international customers go to a website, they may not buy if there are certain barriers, such as content being displayed in a language they don’t understand, or their currency or preferred payment option not being available. The widget from Alternative Payments aims to solve this problem. The widget fetches the location of the user and then automatically displays the content with the correct language, currency and payment options. The widget supports over 160 currencies and more than 40 languages. To implement it, websites simply need to add the widget’s code to their website.
