Evidence has emerged that Google is on the verge of announcing a payment feature for its Android Wear devices. Text prompts have been found within a new Google Play Services software update saying things like: "try holding your watch to the terminal again" and “lock to use Android Pay more securely”. Whilst the feature is thought to be in the later stages of development, it likely won't be available until early next year when Android 2.0 launches. However, the Android payment feature already falls far behind those from Samsung and Apple, both of which have had their own versions of the technology available to the public for some time.
