Why are meta tags important?

Meta tags are added to your website template and are used by search engine spiders to help them determine the content of a webpage and whether it should rank for particular search queries or not. Each webpage should have different meta tags, which consist of a title tag, keyword tag and meta description tag.

The meta description tag is the text that displays in the search engine results below the webpage title and is crucial when it comes to converting rankings into clicks. The description should clearly explain the content of the webpage, as well as entice the user to click.

We will analyse your existing meta tags to ensure they are linguistically correct, relevant to the webpage content and that SEO best practices are implemented.

How a meta tag analysis works

The process begins by completing a briefing questionnaire with your Project Manager to clarify your objectives. This briefing will be visible to all the team members involved with delivering the service and is the foundation for all our quality checks. We will need access to your existing meta tags.

A native speaker of your target language, under the supervision of your Project Manager, will conduct an analysis of these meta tags, checking that they are linguistically correct, relevant to the webpage content and well-optimised, taking into consideration your keyword mapping (if you do not already have keyword mapping, this will have to be ordered separately).

This analysis will be sent to you in an Excel format, ready for you to re-upload to your website template if necessary.

Webcertain Group is passionate about generating business growth for its clients in any part of the world.

A team of native speakers of all the world’s major languages works together to achieve client objectives - no one understands working with different cultures and the nuances of language in the globe’s search engines better than the Webcertain multilingual teams.
