Ensure all your products have a unique descriptive element

For SEO purposes, it is important that each of your product listings has a unique descriptive element. When you have a large feed this can seem like an extremely time-consuming and challenging process. A native linguist will split your feed into product types and for each type will create dynamics for feed descriptions in your target language. This will ensure keyphrases change for each URL.

Dynamic templates for product feeds can help…

When you have a large number of very similar pages.

When you want to optimise feed descriptions for a large number of pages.

When you want to maximise the visibility of your product listings.

When you do not have an in-house native linguist.

Why are dynamic templates important for product feeds?

When you have a large product feed, creating individual descriptive elements can seem like an extremely time-consuming and challenging process. A native linguist will split your feed into product types and for each type will create dynamics for descriptive elements in your target language to make the keyphrases change for each URL.

The number of templates will vary depending on the complexity of the feed structure and the number and range of products.

In order to create dynamic templates we will also need a keyword map, which can either be generated by pulling existing elements from the pages or created manually (in which case keyword mapping needs to be ordered separately).

It is also advisable to optimise category keywords manually by mapping them based on keyword research.

How it works

The process begins by completing a briefing questionnaire. This briefing will be visible to all the team members involved with the project and is the foundation for all our quality checks. Your website should contain variable elements (e.g. the different sizes and colours available for a shoe catalogue) that we can use in the template and must be in English.

A native linguist will split your feed into product types and for each type will create dynamics for descriptive elements in your target language to make the keyphrases change for each URL.

We will send you these in an Excel format, ready for you to upload to your website template.
