When you want input into the preparation stages of a project
Before embarking on a new translation project it is important that all preparation stages are completed successfully as this will help the project to run smoothly. Depending on your business sector there may be industry specific terminology which needs to be adhered to and maintained throughout the translated literature.
Creating a bilingual glossary of these specialist terms is an excellent measure to take in such a situation as it will result in consistency throughout the translated literature and also provides support for future projects.
We will translate your glossary of industry specific terms, delivering this to you to have your in-house or in-country colleagues personally check and sign off the translated glossary prior to the start of a translation project with us.
The process begins by completing a briefing questionnaire to clarify your objectives. This briefing will be visible to all the team members involved with delivering the service and is the foundation for all our quality checks.
We will either ask you to provide an existing glossary of terms for us to simply translate, or we can create a glossary from the content you require translating for which there is an additional charge.
Your dedicated project manager will liaise with our professional translators in order to translate your glossary. Your project manager may ask you to provide further clarification as and when required. They will provide a final version of the bilingual glossary to be signed off by your in-country teams, if available.
Please note that this service only includes the translation of a glossary and does not include term extraction or any other preparation stages of the translation project. This is a one-off service to be carried out when embarking on a new working relationship with us. Any updates or terminology management will be charged at additional rates.
