WeChat has two advertising options for verified business accounts: Moments Ads and Account Ads.

How it works

The process begins with you completing a briefing questionnaire to clarify your objectives. This briefing will be visible to all the team members involved with opening the account and is the foundation for all our quality checks.

We will ask you to provide your personal ID (if you are Chinese) or your business license, if you have these.

Please note that if the account is set up as an overseas account, you won't be able to target domestic users. Domestic users will be able to find the overseas account, but currently, they are not be able to follow it. To qualify for a domestic account, your business must be a legal entity registered in China.
