It is vital that the design of a website is effective in order for it to achieve its objectives, whether that is e-commerce, lead generation or knowledge/information sharing.
A website is not a piece of artwork, but a carefully crafted piece of visual engineering, designed to be appealing to the eye, yet drawing the user to the key elements, next steps and calls to actions on the site's respective pages. This is especially important as the adoption of tablets and smart phones continues to grow.
A responsive site will adapt visually to the screen size, resolution and orientation of the device being used to optimise the user's experience of the site. It does this by expanding, collapsing, folding and/or hiding certain elements.
Our design team will assess several aspects of the factors that influence your website such as your existing web analytics data, your existing design, your brand guidelines, competitor website appraisal and your rationale for considering re-design. (NB: This information should be provided by you). Thereafter we will produce a design concept of each of the key pages and components of the site.
Whilst most common CMS platforms enable excellent design flexibility, the design will also be influenced by the CMS platform being used and the requirements of responsive web design.
The actual delivery will vary from site to site based on the brief, which in turn will affect he time taken and thus the cost.
Once completed, the designs will be made available for you in a web environment for your approval/comments. The cost will include one revision of each element.
