Ensuring that your website is full of relevant, interesting and up-to-date content is a key component of attracting visitors to your site.

However, for these content efforts to bear fruit, your pages must be laid out in a way that is easy to navigate and promotes engagement with your brand. Your pages should encourage the user to undertake your desired conversion action, whether that's a purchase, a completed contact form, a sign up, following a desired navigational path or just a reduction in your bounce rate.

Most Content Management Systems enable a degree of flexibility within the visual templates, making it possible to manipulate elements on the page to present them in a format that better encourages the conversion action for pages that are not performing as well as was hoped.

We will look at the performance of the pages in your analytics system (e.g. Google Analytics) and compare this with your objectives for visitors to these pages. We will then make recommendations on how your website could be more usable with commentary to explain the rationale for the proposal we recommend. Once these amends are approved by you, we will implement the changes into your Content Management System.

Quality process

The process begins by completing a briefing questionnaire with your account manager to clarify your web page's objectives. This briefing will be visible to all the team members involved with delivering the service and is the foundation for all our quality checks. We will need editing access to your website/CMS templates/style sheets and, if it is a system we are unfamiliar with, we will ask you for written instructions to enable us to edit the CMS.

A member of our content and web design team will analyse your page's performance using your analytics data, identifying possible causes for the performance gap. We will then formulate a series of recommendations on now to make your website more usable, supported with commentary explaining why we believe these changes will result in performance improvements. After approval by you, we'll make the necessary amendments in your CMS system, enabling you to make pages live in the new format.
