Why image sourcing and optimisation?
Marketing communications, whether online or offline, are more powerful when complementary images are used to accompany a textual message. However, sourcing and optimising compelling images can be a time-consuming and expensive process. And, if you are an international business, you'll have the added responsibility of ensuring that the visual narrative used in your campaigns are culturally sensitive. Using the right images that are correctly optimised have the power to increase the value of your brand in your target market because they offer your customers an experience beyond your product or service offering.
Our design team can help you develop visual content that will clearly communicate your brand voice and identity, allowing you to maintain consistency and build trust with your audience.
With access to a wide range of stock images, we can take the hassle out of sourcing images and ensure they convey and support your specific messages. We will improve the appeal of your marketing communication and save you time by sourcing images that are sized (pixels and KB) accordingly for your needs.
The outcome is an image that's customised to match your brief and optimised to fit the specification of the application you need it for. The image will be emailed to you in a .jpeg or .png format.
How image sourcing and optimisation works?
The process begins by completing a briefing questionnaire to clarify your objectives. This briefing will be visible to all the team members involved with sourcing and optimising the images and is the foundation for all our quality checks.
We will ask you to provide us with the following:
- The image(s) that you want us to optimise
- An explanation of the message that each image is required to support and/or demonstrate
- The required image properties – i.e. pixel size, maximum KB and the type of application in which the image will be used
One of our design team will source 3 images for you, from which you will be asked to select your preferred one. We will then optimise your chosen image to your desired properties.
