Only 7% Of Luxembourg Businesses Have A Web Presence

This is despite the fact 3/4 of people buy online in Luxembourg

Data has been released that shows that the small country of Luxembourg is struggling to compete with larger nations when it comes to digitalisation. Despite its location in Western Europe, a traditionally highly digitalised region, only 7% of tradespeople there have an online presence for their business. This is especially surprising since more than three quarters of the Luxembourg population shops online. Fernand Ernster, president of Luxembourg's Commercial Federation, said that people were still sceptical about venturing into ecommerce, even though it has “shown to be capable of being a complementary channel for physical stores”.
