60% Use 4G In Taiwan

Taiwanese mobile users are using 4G connections more and more, with 60% of the population now having access to the service. As 2G and 3G levels remain stable in the country, a survey by Taiwan's National Communications Commission shows that 4G mobile connections in the country hit 15 million in June, an increase of 5% in just 2 months. In turn, the faster 4G connection speeds mean that mobile use in the country is changing. A survey from MasterCard last year shows that 80% of the population are now using their mobile devices for online communication, and as the number of people using 4G connections increases, it is estimated that the number of people using such features will increase just as rapidly.
