Training at Webcertain
How we can help you progress
We consider ourselves a learning organisation and help you to develop in many different ways from the day you start with us. During your first week you will spend time with your Team and colleagues in the wider organisation to learn more about the Webcertain culture, visions and values.
In the initial weeks and months you will commence onboarding and an induction programme that is aimed to make your first few weeks and months easier and embed into the organisation smoothly. You will learn about team and personal targets.
We believe the best way to learn is through hands-on experiences like shadowing colleagues and regular group training sessions. We have developed our own training platform in the form of guides and research which is a great way to learn and you can also share your own knowledge.
We also encourage our employees to attend and network at industry events and speak or participate in webinars and conferences, including the International Search Summit event that we host, held in Munich, London, Boston and Barcelona.

I joined Webcertain in 2014 as a project coordinator for the translation team with no prior experience in the industry. Through the years I have worked on an array of projects including translation, integration, SEO optimisation, voiceover, subtitling, and typesetting in more languages than I even knew existed. Nine years on, there is not a week that goes by without something new to learn. You have the opportunity to engage with Webinars, events, client calls, and the development of the companies services and processes. It’s one of the most varied and interesting places I have ever worked for with THE most interesting group of people I have ever worked with. My role has grown and shifted over the years, I am now managing a team and department with the opportunity to shape our future.

When I applied for a job at Webcertain, I didn't know a lot about digital marketing – I actually thought people were talking about paper clicks rather than pay per click in my interview! I had experience in sales and customer service, but I assumed my lack of digital knowledge would mean I didn’t get the job – but I later was told that my positive attitude and quick-wittedness outweighed my lack of digital experience. I started as an Account Executive and 5 years in I’m a Senior Account Manager and Team Leader, speaking at conferences and winning an internal award in 2018.

I studied advertising and worked in the sector before moving to the UK. Building a new career in a new country was tough…but this year I’m celebrating my 10th year at Webcertain. I started as a Linguist and then got into the PPC field as Webcertain is great at helping you find where you fit best. I not only gained an opportunity to work in a totally international environment but also travelled around the world to deliver training, attend events and meet key clients. Currently, I work as a Paid Media Specialist, and I love Webcertain’s flexible business understanding, especially when it comes to cultural differences. It’s so great to feel like we are at the forefront of where companies want to be in terms of both delivery and workplace mentality.
