Overall Purpose:

As an Online Advertising Specialist, you’ll play one of the key roles in our team of online advertising experts through managing a portfolio of our top international clients. You will be responsible for planning and executing their paid search and display strategies as well as identifying new opportunities to grow accounts that are assigned to you. You will analyse accounts performance, generate and report on insights and deliver a high impact and quality service to our top clients.

Key accountabilities:

  • A day to day management of paid search, social and display campaigns (incl. programmatic) of our key client accounts focused on achieving KPIs agreed with the client
  • Development of a high-impact growth strategy (together with our account executives/managers) for each key client account based on data-driven decisions
  • Onboarding new clients (campaign planning and set up but excluding campaign creation which will be delivered by our team of linguists)
  • Proactive search for sales opportunities and proposals preparation for the account managers containing expansion ideas and recommendations
  • Making recommendations e.g. Landing pages optimisation and client offering focused on improving conversion rates & ROI
  • Setting up client reporting templates, producing monthly reports and providing strategic recommendations based on performance
  • Ensuring excellent working relationship with all team members and other departments within the company with the special focus on key accounts
  • Providing regular, clear and concise reporting to the Team Leader on the performance and growth of your clients
  • Proactively searching for ways of improving the usage and functionality of our in-house reporting and project management system
  • Delivering training to media team and others across the group,as required

Essential skills and competencies required in the role:

  • An extensive practical online campaign management experience (in-house or agency) of multiple, large media accounts with combined monthly budgets of at least £100,000 per month
  • Experience of managing paid media campaigns across multiple markets and languages.
  • Proven track record of achieving growth for large scale PPC campaigns, preferably in a B2B, tourism or education environment
  • Commercial acumen focused on achieving balance between maximising business profit & delivering exceptional customer results
  • Self-starting, proactive and highly adaptable to change individual with a growth-mindset and positive attitude
  • Confident and assertive communicator with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Ability to think creatively to identify and resolve problems
  • Passion about digital marketing and keeping abreast of industry trends and developments globally
  • Experience at pitching services to existing clients and prospects
  • Auditing existing accounts in order to identify improvement ideas
  • Advanced practical knowledge of Google Ads
  • Advanced practical knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Excellent knowledge on tracking methods and Google Tag Manager
  • Good practical knowledge of Microsoft Advertising
  • Strong working experience with attribution models
  • Good knowledge of automation methods incl. scripts
  • A native level proficiency of any of Webcertain’s business languages*

Desirable skills and competencies required in the role:

  • Good general knowledge of Yandex, Baidu & Naver advertising options
  • Good general knowledge of Adobe Advertising Cloud
  • Experience at reporting to senior management on profitability and key KPIs achieved per each client
  • Exposure to other areas of digital marketing such as SEO, social media, content, website development
  • Practical knowledge of Adobe Advertising Cloud
  • Practical knowledge of running campaigns on Yandex, Yahoo, Naver and Baidu
