Junior PPC Executive

Overall Purpose:

We’re looking for an ambitious paid search practitioner who is results- orientated and loves working with data.

You will be responsible for devising and executing clients’ paid search strategies, developing client roadmaps, identifying new opportunities to grow accounts that are assigned to you. You will be analysing performance, generating and reporting insights and working with other media team members to deliver a valuable, high quality and integrated service to our clients.

You will also play a pivotal role in developing our in-house tools to create efficiencies and deliver insights to clients.

Key accountabilities:

  • On-boarding new paid search clients
  • Setting up and day to day management of paid search campaigns
  • Setting up client reporting templates, producing monthly reports and providing strategic recommendations
  • Participating in client meetings to support account managers
  • Producing and overseeing creative briefings which are delivered by other internal teams / external suppliers
  • Developing and ownership of relevant paid search services
  • Ensuring good working relationships are maintained with all team members and other departments within the company
  • Collaborating actively with our developers to streamline processes and deliver better insights to customers
  • Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and developments in paid search
  • Leading the development of best-practice materials related to the role which can be shared internally/externally ensuring process documentation is current and accurate
  • Delivering training to media assistants/trainees and others across the group as required
  • Providing holiday cover for other team members

Skills and attributes required:

Essential:
  • Demonstrable experience of working with paid search platforms
  • Ability to understand client’s business, define needs and determine the relevant tactics to achieve their campaigns goals
  • Experience in developing PPC strategies, media planning and reporting back insights and recommendations
  • Google Ads certified
  • Command of analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics, Tongji, Yandex Metrica or Adobe Analytics
  • Self-starting, proactive and willing to learn with a positive attitude
  • Managing expectations of internal and external stakeholders
  • Commercially astute and business minded to take responsibility of profit generated through delivering campaigns/solutions
  • Effective time management skills and an eye for detail
  • Confident speaking with and advising clients
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Native level proficiency in Japanese, Russian, Chinese or Korean

Desirable:

  • Experience managing campaigns on Yandex, Baidu, Naver, Yahoo JP
  • Exposure to other areas of digital marketing such as SEO, social media, content, website development
  • Understanding of usability and conversion rate optimisation
