Overall Purpose:

As an Account Manager, you will lead seamless communication and successful implementation of digital marketing strategies by bridging clients and internal teams. You’ll take ownership of translating client objectives into actionable plans, cultivate strong relationships, and drive satisfaction within defined budgets, driving the agency’s growth through the delivery of high-quality, client-centric digital marketing solutions.

Key accountabilities:

  • Take the initiative to cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key clients
  • Ensure clients' needs, business goals and objectives are understood
  • Lead the communication and collaboration between the client and the digital marketing team as the primary point of contact
  • Conduct research and analysis to gain a comprehensive understanding of the client’s industry landscape and current performance
  • Ensure realistic project and campaign goals are formulated and agreed upon
  • Independently develop and present digital marketing strategies and proposals aligned with client objectives
  • Take ownership of the creation of comprehensive and clear briefs for internal teams, detailing project objectives, KPIs, and requirements
  • Lead the execution of digital marketing campaigns across various channels
  • Ensure campaigns are executed within established timelines and budget constraints
  • Analyse campaign performance metrics, identify areas for improvement and proactively recommend data-driven optimisations to enhance campaign effectiveness
  • Strategically distribute budgets across diverse digital marketing channels, ensuring optimal utilisation to achieve maximum ROI
  • Provide clients with regular updates on budget utilisation, showcasing your ability to manage financial aspects with precision and transparency
  • Take charge of managing the invoicing process and monitoring collections, ensuring timely payments, and handling any discrepancies
  • Coordinate efforts between clients and the digital marketing teams, fostering a cohesive and efficient collaboration that reflects your leadership capabilities
  • Foster a collaborative and positive working environment
  • Address client concerns, showcasing a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Demonstrate the ability to independently assess situations, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and changes in digital marketing platforms
  • Make sure the team and clients are aware of industry changes relevant to their projects
  • Proactively identify and pursue new client opportunities. Take charge of prospecting, engaging, and nurturing client relationships, showcasing your ability to drive client development initiatives
  • Take the lead in networking and building connections
  • Independently represent the company in various forums, events, and client interactions, contributing to the growth of our client base

  • Experience in a digital agency environment
  • Ability to independently manage digital marketing projects
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Package, especially Excel
  • Ability to self-learn quickly

  • Adaptiveness, positive approach to change
  • Confidence in working towards financial targets and business development
  • Knowledge of SEO and various digital search marketing techniques and activities
  • Native or bilingual level of proficiency in a European language
