The idea behind WebCertain was first born in 1997 when it's first client - Andy Atkins-Krűger who is now the company's Managing Director - was looking for a solution to promote his company's web site via the search engines throughout Europe.
Not only was it difficult to find (unbelievably) a search engine optimisation business, it was impossible to source a search engine optimisation business which handled many languages. The result was that a web design business was persuaded to develop a service on Andy's behalf. Thus WebCertain had a global view right from its very inception.
The business grew from a department to a separately incorporated company not long after and following a few years of being the client, Andy decided that the results he was getting for his marketing programmes from the work WebCertain was doing, far exceeded any of the print advertising, direct mail and telemarketing that he was otherwise employing.
Having decided to join WebCertain as MD, the business shifted up a gear in terms of its development strategy and has expanded its client-base, service portfolio and reputation. It has also recruited a team of speakers of all the world's languages to create its "Search Language Hub" serving global companies with effective search marketing in any language.
