Using web re-design as an opportunity to improve...

To be fair, the team at Foremans' Buildings were already committed to their web site before they began to use WebCertain for search engine marketing. That's why when it was suggested that a planned re-design of the web site should be used as an opportunity to increase search engine ranking performance, that the team at Foremans jumped at the chance.

Sales Director Mike Ward continues, "We recognised very early on that the web represented an opportunity for our business - but we never expected to reach the levels of performance we're achieving now. Back a couple of years we were already generating 7% of all our enquiries from the internet."

"WebCertain planned a keyword approach and strategy for the new site when the site design was still a twinkle in the designers eye. That approached has paid dividends ten-fold since."

"Almost immediately, we soared up the rankings and the business followed. Within a couple of months we'd reached a peak of 35% of all our enquiries were web generated and we really thought we'd hit the ceiling of the web's potential."

"But now some months we're hitting 70% and not only are the leads generated more cost-effectively, but we've been able to reduce our marketing costs by significantly pruning back our advertising elsewhere. I'm convinced that it won't be long before if you're not really visible on the web, you're not in business - but the key is to talk about your web site's objectives BEFORE you start to design it."
